What We Believe
The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.
* The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation
of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct… 2 Timothy 3:16
* We believe in the one true and living God who exists eternally in three co-equal persons; Father,
Son and Holy Spirit… Isaiah 44:6; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3,14; Genesis 1:26; John 10:30; Matthew

* We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became human for the salvation of
humanity. He was born of the virgin Mary and existed as one person with two natures: truly God and

* We believe that God created humans in His own image as both male and female, both with
inherent dignity and the calling to be co-heirs with Christ … Romans 8:17
* We believe that marriage was created by God and is a sacred institution between one man and
one woman… Genesis 2:24
* We believe that all have sinned and are in need of a Savior & that all sin separates us from God…

* We believe in Jesus’ once and for all sufficient and perfect sacrificial death on the cross for our sin.
We believe that Jesus was buried and that he rose again on the third day and remained for 40 days
before ascending to heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father… Romans 6:9; 1

* We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that the gifts of the Spirit are active in today’s
body… Acts 1:4-5; Acts 11:16; Acts 9:2-6
* We believe in the rapture of the Church and in the second coming of Christ… 1Thessalonians

* We believe that the unified, holy, global, and historic Church is the visual advancement of the
Kingdom of Heaven on Earth and is composed of every person who has been redeemed and
restored by Jesus to the Father through the ages, regardless of geographical location, Christian
denomination or cultural tradition. Jesus, the Son of the living God, is the Church’s firm foundation

* We believe in obedience to Jesus Christ, knowing that love for Him is shown through our actions.

* We believe in water baptism and taking communion as outward expressions of faith in Jesus… 1
